The Bride by Julie Garwood.

Don't know why, but I enjoy reading old books and most especially romance fictions that are set in the medieval time.
Today I read a novel called THE BRIDE by Julie Garwood, and I couldn't help but be captivated by the main characters of that book,Jamie and Alec. The settings was in Scotland and London, and if you're trully a lover of books, you would know Scotland and England were not a good mix.
In the beginning, Alec's wife Helena was killed and the Kincaid clan thought she committed suicide. Alec had to go to England, His most dreaded country and people to choose a bride not because he willingly wanted to,but because his king 'king Edgar' directed him to, in order to boost England and Scotland's relationship.
Baron Jamison was also directed by his King 'king Henry' to make sure his four daughter were on display when the Scots arrive as a punishment for not paying his tax. And let me inform you people baron Jamison is a selfish and self centered old man. He deviced a plan to put only three of his daughter on display but hide the most beautiful and hard working daughter 'Jamie'. The plan was disrupted by beak, a servant and most trusted ally of Jamie who taught her how to speak Gaelic, the language of the Scots and many more things. To cut the story short, Jamie and Mary her sister married Alec and Daniel not willingly and they were to leave their home on the very same day. This book is full of drama, love, suspense and I'm sure you will also laugh your heart out. Get this book to read for pleasure.

You can find the book on www.epub.com under Julie Garwood. Just type epub Julie Garwood on your Google browser and I'm sure u will see the book. Download or read online for free. I promise you will enjoy its and please I romance.
